Book your wedding ceremony and reception venues making sure the locations can accommodate the number of guests you are inviting.
Find out if the venue you chose have requirements for outside vendors or if you are to only use their approved vendors. Choose your wedding party. Who will be in your wedding party? Will you have a Maid of Honor and Best Man, Flower girl, Ring bearer, Ushers, and/or special people? Choose the style or theme of your wedding so you will be able to use the proper colors for your clothing, decorations, food, and stationery,
Research wedding vendors. You may need caterers, entertainment, event designers, florists, photographers, etc. Think about who you want to officiate your wedding and make sure they are available on your special day. You may want to choose a family member, a friend, or a professional officiant. Make sure the person you choose is certified in the state you are getting married in and make sure you know if they will be filing he marriage license or if you will be filing it. Start designing wedding stationery for the save the date announcements, invitations, and thank you cards. Consider creating and/or purchasing thank-you cards for early engagement gifts.
